Shelley Dowst

Shelley Dowst has a diverse work experience in the security and telecommunications industry. Shelley currently holds the position of Project Lead Site Installer at ROAR, where they lead installation projects for the company's wearable panic technology. Prior to this, they served as a Field Site Project Manager at ROAR, responsible for ensuring safety and security through the deployment of panic notification devices.

Before joining ROAR, Shelley worked as a Bay Alarm Installation Engineer at Bay Alarm Company, where they specialized in installing alarm systems. Shelley also gained valuable experience as an ADT Security Systems Technician at ADT Security, where they worked for six years. In this role, they were responsible for the installation and maintenance of security systems.

Shelley started their career as a Veterans Service Representative at RWM Fiber Optics, Inc. Here, they provided support and assistance to veterans in accessing fiber optic services.

With a strong background in security system installation and project management, Shelley Dowst brings a wealth of expertise to their current role at ROAR, ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and workplaces.

Shelley Dowst CFOT, CFOS/C/T, SCTE, ACE attended RWM Fiber Optics from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained FOA and SCTE Certifications in Telecommunications. In April 2015, they obtained additional certifications including the Broadband Cable Television Technician certification from RWM Fiber Optics, Inc., the Broadband Premises Installer certification from the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, and several certifications from The Fiber Optic Association, Inc. (FOA) such as Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Connectors, Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Testing, Certified Fiber Optic Technician, Fiber Optic Certified Premises Cabling Technician CPCT. Additionally, they completed the Communications Technician Program 103 Course, the Fiber Optic Broadband Technician Course, the Home Audio and Video Technician Course, the Ladder Handling and Safety Management Course, the Satellite Technician Course, and the Security Surveillance and Alarm Technician Course, all at RWM Fiber Optics, Inc.
