Equity Analyst, Emerging Markets at Robeco

Deyan Koychev has a strong background in equity analysis and investment advisory. Deyan started their career with Robeco in 2014 as a Global Equities Intern, where they conducted thorough industry and company analysis to assist the team's portfolio managers. Deyan then joined Sortis Invest as a Private Equity & Fundraising Intern, where they contributed to the development of an information memorandum and a pro-forma financial model for a large hospitality project. In 2015, Deyan returned to Robeco as a Junior Equity Analyst, where they developed investment cases, generated stock ideas, and wrote thematic white papers in various equity teams. Deyan later took on the role of Equity Analyst, Emerging Markets, focusing on Emerging Europe, Latin America, and Africa, as well as small and medium-sized companies from the Global Emerging Market space. Throughout their work experience, Deyan has demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive research on investment opportunities.

Deyan Koychev, CFA, holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Financial Economics (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, which they completed from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BScBA) in International Business and Management from the University of Groningen between 2009 and 2012. Deyan also spent a semester at Uppsala University in 2011-2012, focusing on Business Studies under an exchange program. Furthermore, Deyan Koychev is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, having obtained this certification from the CFA Institute in September 2019.
