Farahnaz Pashaei Kamali

Farahnaz Pashaei Kamali, PhD has extensive work experience in the fields of sustainability, research, and project management. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Senior Sustainability Investing Analyst at Robeco, where they conducted in-depth research on energy companies with a focus on their sustainability impact on financial investments. Farahnaz also provided sector and company analyses to aid in investment decision-making and collaborated with financial analysts to demonstrate the value of sustainability research in portfolio management.

Prior to their role at Robeco, Farahnaz worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Delft University of Technology from 2016 to 2019. In this position, they led various projects related to sustainable and low-carbon European societies, as well as regional production of biobased products. Farahnaz was responsible for project initiation, design, planning, execution, and stakeholder involvement, and provided tactical leadership to project teams.

Farahnaz Pashaei Kamali, PhD, holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Chemistry from Azad University (IAU). Farahnaz further pursued their education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure from 2008 to 2010. Later on, Farahnaz enrolled in Wageningen University & Research and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sustainability Studies from 2011 to 2015.
