Thibault Lair, PhD, CFA, FRM has extensive work experience in quantitative research and investment management. Thibault is currently working at Robeco as a Senior Quantitative Researcher, focusing on credits since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held the position of Portfolio Manager & Quantitative Researcher at Robeco starting from June 2018.

In addition to their role at Robeco, Thibault is an External Lecturer at EDHEC Business School as of September 2021.

Thibault Lair, PhD, CFA, FRM has an extensive education history that spans from 1995 to 2021. Thibault began their academic journey in 1995 at Lycée Français Vauban where they obtained their Baccalauréat degree. Following this, they attended the University of Luxembourg in 2001 and received their DEUG degree in Economics. In 2002, Thibault enrolled in HEC Montréal where they completed their BBA degree in Economics & Finance from 2002 to 2005.

To further enhance their knowledge in the field, Thibault pursued an MSc in Applied Finance at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2005 to 2007. Thibault then went on to pursue a higher level of education, attending EDHEC Business School from 2013 to 2021. During this period, Thibault earned their PhD in Finance.

In addition to their academic achievements, Thibault has also obtained several certifications. Thibault is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certified by the CFA Institute and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
