Geoff Grant

Geoff has more than 30 years of financial management experience including 25 years working in retail financial services. His formal qualifications included a Bachelor of Commerce (Uni of Qld), Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Fellow of FINSIA and Graduate of Institute of Company Directors. He joined Robert Bird Group in 2014 and currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer for the group located in our Brisbane office. He is responsible for overall financial and management reporting, cash management and treasury operations, forecasting and preparation of financial statements for the group operations. Experience across a range of disciplines including treasury, accounting and corporate services has been achieved working in multiple businesses. Geoff was the team lead on the due diligence process as part of the successful sale of the business to Surbana Jurong in 2017. He also has significant exposure to corporate and fiduciary governance through past roles as company secretary and director of operating companies in regulated industries. He offers a desirable personal brand built around commitment, dependability and team work.
