Mark A Conway has a diverse work experience in the field of design technology. Mark started their career as a CAD Intern at Wagman Construction, Inc. in 1999. Mark then worked as a Senior Designer at First Capital Engineering for almost 10 years, where they also managed the CAD team and implemented Best Design Practices for CAD production. After that, they joined Pennterra Engineering Inc as a CAD Technician, where they prepared land development models and plans and implemented Best Design Practices for BIM and CAD production. Mark then worked at Hatch Mott MacDonald as a CAD Technician, focusing on waste water treatment plant models and plans, and implementing Best Design Practices for BIM and CAD production. Following that, they joined Print-O-Stat, Inc. Software Solutions Division as an Infrastructure Applications Engineer, where they researched and instructed users on various Infrastructure Design Software products and operated and trained on LiDAR scanner and Point Cloud Software. Currently, they are working as the Director of Design Technology at Gilmore & Associates, Inc., where they train, supports, and manages a team in various design disciplines using the latest software technology, researches and implements advancing technologies, and develops marketing models to acquire new business.
Mark A Conway attended YTI Career Institute from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an Associates in Specialized Technologies in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Additionally, they have several certifications from Autodesk, including Autodesk Certified Instructor - Silver obtained in July 2019, Autodesk Certified Instructor AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D obtained in February 2014, AutoCAD 2014 Certified Professional and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 Certified Professional obtained in December 2013, and AutoCAD 2013 Certified Professional and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 and 2013 Certified Professional, for which the months and years of obtaining are unknown. Mark also holds certifications as a Certified BIM Specialist for Roads and Highways Solution from Autodesk obtained in December 2013, an Authorized Training Center Instructor for Environmental Natural Resources and Infrastructure from Gilmore Global obtained in August 2012, and a Certified Draftsman from the American Design Drafting Association. Mark has additional certifications from Autodesk, including Infrastructure Technical Professional Certification and Process Plant Specialist, for which the months and years of obtaining are unknown.
