Richard Harris has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Richard started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Druces LLP in 1998 and then worked as a Solicitor at Bird & Bird LLP from 2000 to 2002. Richard also had a secondment as a Legal Counsel at 360networks during this time.
In 2002, Harris joined Tiscali as a Legal Counsel until 2005 when they moved to bwin as an Assistant General Counsel. At bwin, they were responsible for the majority of the Group's commercial legal function and played a key role in the company's IPO and subsequent merger.
In 2011, Harris joined Robert Walters as the Chief Legal Officer, leading a global team of legal professionals and support staff. Richard also served as the Company Secretary, a member of the Group's Operating Board, and the Group Data Protection Officer. In 2015, they took on the additional role of General Counsel and Chief of Staff for Resource Solutions, where they were involved in regulatory aspects, commercial agreements, litigation, and legal strategy.
Harris has also been actively involved in various external roles. Richard served as a Representative Committee Member for APSCo, a leading industry body, participating in discussions with government and policymakers. Richard also held governance roles at Ark Priory Academy, serving as a School Governor and a member of the Ark Resolutions Committee.
Currently, Harris is involved with the Raphael Rowe Foundation, where they serve as the Chair and previously held the position of Company Secretary and Advisory Board Member.

Richard Harris attended The Mill Hill School Foundation from 1988 to 1992. Richard then pursued a Bsc. (Hons) degree in Sociology at the University of Surrey from 1992 to 1996. Afterward, they went to The University of Law from 1996 to 1998 to complete a CPE/LPC degree in Law.
