Gabriel Villar is a current Robertson Scholar at the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program, which provides a comprehensive scholarship and leadership development experience at Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill. Villar has demonstrated significant leadership through roles such as President of the Environmental Club at Christopher Columbus High School, where research on endangered orchid species was conducted, and as Florida District Governor for Key Club International, where leadership was provided to over 21,000 members. Additional experiences include serving as President of the National Honor Society, coordinating blood drives as a liaison for OneBlood, and co-founding a Spanish communication initiative to support seniors during COVID-19. Villar has completed an internship at MasTec and has engaged in community service as an Assistant Instructor at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Villar is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Health Sciences and an unspecified field at Duke University and UNC-Chapel Hill.
