Mahir Vora

Mahir is a Managing Director in the Investment Office at Robertson Stephens. Mahir has over 25 years of experience as an investor, wealth management product specialist and investment banker.

Most recently, Mahir was a founding member of a new distressed debt strategy at TCW. Prior to that, Mahir was a Managing Director at Davidson Kempner Capital Management where, as part of the Distressed Debt team, he led the firm’s investment in financial services companies. Mahir started his career at Goldman Sachs where he was an analyst in the Investment Banking Division and a Vice President in the Investment Management Division leading product strategy and development and alternative investment fund raising.

Mahir graduated from Cornell University’s College of Engineering with a B.Sc. and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mahir enjoys travel, hiking, crossword puzzles, western and Indian classical music and cooking.
