M.D. Zafar Sadiq

Md. Zafar Sadiq has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as General Manager of Commercial Business Planning at Robi Axiata Limited since January 2014. Zafar has held several key managerial roles, including overseeing management reporting, finance business partnering, and strategic planning, developing and executing long-term business strategies, financial planning, and collaborating on new business opportunities. Notable achievements include the successful strategy and execution of the ‘Binge’ app, the formulation of a blockchain-based data sharing platform, and the pilot execution of the ‘Joyeeta’ hand loan project. Zafar's prior experience includes various positions at Banglalink focused on RF planning and network strategy. Zafar holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka.
