Aravind Rao

Aravind Rao is an accomplished technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as a Tech Lead at Robinhood since 2020, Aravind previously held the role of Founding Engineer at BLADE from 2017 to 2020, and worked as a Software Engineer at Google, focusing on Counter Abuse Tech and Image Understanding. Aravind began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, where contributions were made to Google Photos. Additional experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Financial Technology Summer Associate at Citadel LLC. Aravind holds both a Master's Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
