Dawei Deng

Dawei Deng, FRM, is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the financial technology and transportation sectors. At Robinhood since August 2020, Dawei continues to leverage data-driven insights. Previously at Uber from June 2017 to August 2020, Dawei developed scalable real-time rider pricing algorithms for over 700 cities, significantly improving demand prediction accuracy. Prior experience includes roles at Wells Fargo from June 2014 to June 2017 as a Risk Management Consultant and Credit Risk Associate, where Dawei contributed to loss forecasting and stress testing processes. An early career as an Operations Research Analyst at Reddwerks Corporation involved creating simulation models and algorithms to optimize distribution center operations. Dawei holds a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Nanjing University.
