Melissa Babin

Melissa Babin, CAMS, currently serves as Senior Director and Head of Financial Crimes Investigations at Robinhood, leading the Investigations Team and overseeing investigations and SAR filings across all business lines. With extensive experience in financial crimes, Melissa held the position of Director and Economic Crimes Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, providing technical assistance to foreign governments on financial crime prevention. Prior to these roles, Melissa worked at PwC, where Melissa directed the financial crimes practice and advised clients on AML and sanctions compliance. Melissa's earlier experience includes management positions at Booz Allen Hamilton and a legislative internship with the United States Senate. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in National Security Policy Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of San Diego.
