Tanmay Goel

Tanmay Goel is a seasoned Security Software Engineer currently employed at Robinhood since May 2023. Previously, Tanmay held the position of Software Engineer II at Google from January 2020 to March 2023, where Tanmay designed and implemented security policies, integrating them with Google authorization services to enhance data access controls. Prior to Google, Tanmay worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, contributing to the OLAP database team by implementing models and features to improve Analysis Services in Power BI. Tanmay’s experience also includes an internship as a VSD Software Engineer at Nokia, where Tanmay developed a new functional testing suite and a validation system. Earlier in the career, Tanmay was a Software Engineer at Digital Green, creating a JavaScript framework for data collection in offline environments. Tanmay holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi.
