Robert Knight

Robert Knight has a diverse work experience in the field of air traffic control. Robert began their career in 1976 in the United States Marine Corps as an Air Traffic Controller. Robert then joined the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 1983 and served as an Air Traffic Controller and later as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor. In 1990, they worked as an Instructor at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. Robert also held various roles at the FAA, including Front Line Manager and Air Traffic Manager. Robert worked at Raytheon as an Aviation Basics Instructor from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Robert worked at IAP Worldwide Services as a Non-radar Center Controller. Robert then worked at SAIC as an Instructor from 2019 to 2020. Currently, they are employed at Robinson Aviation (RVA), Inc. as an Air Traffic Controller.

Robert Knight attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1992 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aeronautics.
