David Carney

David Carney is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Robinson+Cole since September 2023. David has an extensive background in law, having spent over two decades at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where roles included Counsel and Associate. In addition to legal work, David contributes to youth sports through involvement with the Positive Coaching Alliance, Mid-Atlantic Chapter, providing leadership since July 2019. From July 2014 to June 2019, David served as President and Chair of the Board for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association, where initiatives included expanding the girls' program and enhancing competitive opportunities. David holds a JD from William & Mary Law School and a BA in Religion from Swarthmore College.
