Justin M. Hyland

Justin Hyland concentrates his practice in the Financial Lines sector. In that role, Justin represents domestic and foreign insurers in complex coverage disputes arising under directors and officers (D&O) and errors and omissions (E&O) policies. He also represents carriers in complex disputes arising under policies of commercial general liability insurance.

Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Justin served as law clerk to the Honorable Melanie L. Cradle of the Connecticut Appellate Court. He also clerked for a prominent Hartford-based firm, where he researched and analyzed cutting-edge legal issues and supported supervising attorneys in federal and state appellate courts.

While in law school, Justin served as a Legal Intern for the Hartford Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review. He also worked as the Managing Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal, and distinguished himself academically by earning CALI awards for excellence in six courses.
