Robert Kearbey

Robert Kearbey is a legal professional with extensive experience in public finance and multifamily housing. Currently serving as a Partner at Robinson+Cole since December 2023, Kearbey previously held the position of Member at Kearbey Pirulli & Evatt LLC from July 2023 to November 2023. Prior to that, Kearbey was a Member at Tiber Hudson LLC from September 2019 to July 2023 and served as Associate General Counsel at Freddie Mac from October 2015 to September 2019, focusing on tax-exempt multifamily mortgage lending and securitization. Earlier roles include Counsel at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, where Kearbey represented clients in accessing tax-exempt bond markets, and Associate at Ballard Spahr LLP, where Kearbey worked on financing projects for GSEs, investment banks, and housing developers. Kearbey earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Drury University.
