Stephen M. Yap

Stephen M. Yap is the current VP & CIO at Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. Stephen has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has held various senior positions at multinational companies.

Stephen started their career in 1989 as Vice President Engineering and Chief Technical Officer at International Micronet Systems / Compucom. Stephen then moved on to Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 1995 where they were Director Distributed Computng. In 1999, Stephen joined Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as Senior Director of Enterprise Infrastructure. Stephen left Williams-Sonoma in 2001 to become CIO at Superior Court of California, Conta Costa County. After a few years, Stephen returned to the corporate world and took on the role of Senior Vice President Information Technology at SM Retail Inc. from 2005 to 2015. Stephen has been with Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. since 2016 and is currently VP & CIO.

Stephen M. Yap has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines.
