Mingrui Zhang

Mingrui Zhang is a Senior Software Engineer at Roblox since July 2020, focusing on bringing the Roblox Metaverse to the China market and assisting in building the engineering team. Prior experience includes a role at Snap Inc. where expertise was applied in the Core Camera team to enhance Android app video and transcoding features, leading a project that significantly improved user experience. Mingrui previously worked at Netease Games in various capacities, developing mobile games and optimizing client engines, utilizing languages such as Python and C++. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University.
