Secure ML Infra Leader at Roboflow

Sachin Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Ph.D. candidate and research assistant at Boston University. Sachin then joined Kesser Technical Group as a Software Developer and Distributed System Expert in 2005. In the same year, they also began working at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories/TU Berlin as a Senior Research Scientist, leading a team in designing an IP test-bed and analysis tool-chain. In 2010, Sachin moved to NEC Europe Ltd as a Senior Member of Research Staff, where they built scalable solutions for complex media and web processing over IaaS clouds. Sachin later joined BlackBerry in 2012 as a Platform Architect, focusing on building cloud storage at scale. In 2016, they became a Senior Engineering Manager at TD, leading cloud software engineering teams. Sachin then worked at Peardeck (later acquired by Goguardian) as a Site Reliability Engineer from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined RunX as a Software Engineer, and in 2022, they started working at Roboflow as a Devops Engineer, specializing in cybersecurity and machine learning infrastructure on the public cloud.

Sachin Agarwal obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal between 1996 and 2000. Sachin then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University from 2000 to 2002. Afterward, they continued their education at Boston University and completed a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Sachin Agarwal has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer. Sachin further expanded their expertise by obtaining the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from The Linux Foundation in August 2020. Most recently, in October 2021, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certification, also from The Linux Foundation.
