Nicolas Lauzier

Nicolas Lauzier is a seasoned professional in the field of robotics and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Robotiq since September 2011, where the focus is on simplifying the deployment of palletizing cobots to address labor shortages in manufacturing. Prior roles include Director of Engineering and R&D Project Manager, involving various software-related R&D projects for industrial robot peripherals. Nicolas held R&D internships at Furusho Laboratory at Osaka University and General Motors Research and Development Center, contributing to the optimization of magnetorheological fluid brakes and mechanical design for flexible manufacturing, respectively. Nicolas holds a PhD in mechanical engineering with a specialization in robotics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from Université Laval.
