Olivier Dugas

Olivier Dugas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Olivier currently serves as the Software Development Director at Robotiq, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Gestionnaire du développement logiciel at ClicSanté from September 2021 to January 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, Olivier worked at Axceta Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. Olivier also served as a Training Partner at Elapse Technologies during the same period.

In 2017, they worked briefly as a Software Engineer at Savoir-Faire Linux.

Before that, Olivier worked at Sonatest Ltd from 2014 to 2017, where they held the position of Senior Software Developer.

Olivier also gained teaching experience at Université Laval, where they worked as a Lecturer from 2013 to 2017 and as a Teaching Assistant from 2011 to 2013. In addition, they were a Master Student, focusing on Probabilistic Robotics, from September 2012 to January 2013.

Olivier's previous roles include Development Advisor at Elapse Technologies in 2014, Software Engineer for the Strategic Technology Projects team at Bentley Systems in 2012, and Project Control Officer at La Capitale from 2011 to 2012.

Olivier Dugas, B.Ing., M.Sc., MBA, has an extensive education history. Olivier obtained a College Degree in Natural Sciences from Cégep de Baie-Comeau in 2008. Olivier then pursued a Software Engineering bachelor degree with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and robotics at Université Laval from 2008 to 2012. Olivier continued their education at Université Laval and earned a Computer Master's degree in Robotics from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in 2013 and became a Software Engineer certified by Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in April 2016.
