Daryl Shockey

Daryl Shockey has over twenty years of experience in software engineering and development. Daryl began their career in 1999 as the CEO, Software Developer, and Founder of Choice Applications, where they built a client/server software system using C++ and various other technologies. In 2002, they worked as an independent contractor for Freemarkets Inc. where they developed the first Asp. Net-based tool using C#. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Senior Application Developer for KeyPoint Government Solutions, developing web-based solutions using MVC 4 in C#. For Guardian Protection Services from 2013 to 2014, they developed web-based solutions and introduced KnockoutJS and the MVVM pattern. Finally, since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer for Robots and Pencils and is responsible for code that runs in all layers of the software stack.

Daryl Shockey received an Associate's degree in Computer Information Management from Computer Tech in the years 1996-1998.
