Baptist Vandersmissen

Baptist Vandersmissen began their work experience as a PHP developer at Massive//Media in July 2011. Baptist then worked as a research intern at Carnegie Mellon University from September 2012 to December 2012. In 2013, they joined Ghent University as a researcher and held that position until January 2020. Currently, they are employed as a machine learning engineer at Robovision starting from August 2020.

Baptist Vandersmissen's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Koninklijk Atheneum Halle for their secondary education, focusing on Science and Math. Baptist completed this phase in 2007. Following that, from 2007 to 2012, Baptist Vandersmissen pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ghent University. Building upon this, they continued their education at Ghent University and received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science in 2019.
