Pilvi Maliniemi

Pilvi Maliniemi is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the diagnostics and research sectors. Currently serving as a Medical Scientific Liaison Manager at Roche Diagnostics Oy since January 2019, Pilvi has also held roles as Field Product Manager and Field Product Specialist within the company. Prior to Roche, Pilvi worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Finnish Red Cross Blood Services, focusing on novel cellular immunotherapies and lab management from January 2016 to December 2018. Pilvi's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma Oncology from the University of Helsinki, where research centered on the pathogenesis of cutaneous T cell lymphomas was conducted during the PhD studies from 2007 to 2015. Additionally, Pilvi holds a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Oulu, earned in 2006.
