Joel Vidal-Phillips

Joel Vidal-Phillips is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in commercial strategy and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Commercialisation Strategy and Marketing at Roche Italia since December 2024, Joel is a key member of the Roche Pharma Leadership Team, responsible for the integrated commercialisation strategy across multiple therapeutic areas. Previously, as the Global Commercialisation Strategy Leader at Roche from August 2021 to December 2024, Joel led the global launch of a blockbuster ophthalmology treatment and held various marketing roles at Genentech, including as Principal and Senior Marketing Manager. Joel's early career includes impactful positions at Cowen Healthcare Royalty Partners and Credit Suisse, underpinned by a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
