Dr. Sigrid Welte

Dr. Sigrid Welte is a seasoned executive in the healthcare industry, currently serving as the Head of Customer Engagement Cluster and Executive Director at Roche since January 2019, leading the Oncology, Hematology, and Personalized Healthcare team in Switzerland. Prior to this role, Dr. Welte founded and managed Pharma Innovation Consultancy GmbH, providing strategic consulting to enhance operational excellence from October 2017 to December 2018. From January 2015 to September 2017, Dr. Welte was at Novartis Oncology, directing the rare diseases business in Central and Southern Europe with responsibility for full P&L management and driving significant growth and optimization. Dr. Welte has held various leadership roles at Novartis and other companies, amassing extensive experience in brand management, product development, and team leadership. Dr. Welte's educational background includes multiple executive programs from prestigious institutions, such as Harvard Medical School, INSEAD, and London Business School, alongside a PhD in chemistry from the University of Konstanz.
