Florian Cymer

Florian Cymer is a Principal Scientist and Group Head of Analytical R&D and QC Biotech Products at Roche, where they have worked since 2016. With extensive experience in the biotechnology industry, Florian has developed skills in analytics and bioassays, focusing on method development and process structuring in a GMP environment. Prior to their current role, Florian was a PhD student and postdoc at various prestigious institutions, including the University of Freiburg and the University of Stockholm, where they researched membrane protein interactions and folding. Florian holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Ulm University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Goethe University.
