Joshua Payne

Joshua Payne is a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Roche, specializing in AI for drug discovery. With 20 years of research experience at the convergence of computational and biological sciences, Joshua utilizes machine learning and experimental data to investigate molecular functions. They previously held positions as a Group Leader at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and an SNSF Assistant Professor of Computational Biology at ETH Zurich. Joshua earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Vermont and holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as Operations Research.
