Uche Okpara

Uche Okpara, PhD, PE is an accomplished Principal AI Architect and ML Engineer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, with extensive experience in quantitative risk management and model validation across various prominent organizations. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist and Model Validation Engineer at Fannie Mae, AI Architect at Bank of America, and Senior Data Scientist at The Options Clearing Corporation. Uche also held significant positions at GE Capital as Statistical Validation Lead and at Deloitte as Technical Project Manager. Early career experience includes roles as Software Developer at Sutter Health and Software Engineer at Epic. Uche holds a PhD in Decision Science/Operations Research, along with two Master’s Degrees in Industrial Engineering & Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
