Laura De Jager is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in genetic research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Development Scientist at Roche, Laura contributes to the innovation of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation technologies, specializing in bead purification and RNA library preparation. Prior experience includes a role as a Research and Development Scientist at Kapa Biosystems, where Laura was involved in developing and validating cutting-edge products for the NGS market. Laura began a scientific career as a Student Tutor at Stellenbosch University, focusing on Microbiology and Genetics. Academic qualifications include an MSc and Honours degree in Genetics from Stellenbosch University.
