Manuel Hilbert

Principal Scientist at Roche

Manuel Hilbert is a Principal Scientist at Roche since September 2014, specializing in bio-molecular interactions, including small and large molecules, nucleic acids, macrocycles, and fragments. Previously, Manuel held roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Roche, contributing to biophysical screening and biomolecular interaction studies. Prior experience includes a PostDoc position at the Paul Scherrer Institut focusing on protein-protein interactions and structural biology, as well as another PostDoc at the University of Basel that involved studying protein dynamics and enzymatic activity. An EMBO Short Term Fellowship at the University of Leeds involved evolving RNA aptamers for fluorescent dyes. Manuel's education includes a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Basel and degrees in Macromolecular Science and Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth.
