Richard Sawyer is a commercial leader with over 20 years of experience across all phases of the product lifecycle, currently serving as the Commercialisation Strategy Lead for Nephrology & Rheumatology at Roche since 2025. Previously, they held multiple roles at AbbVie, including ACE Transformation Lead and HCV Area Commercial Director, where they led commercial functions and developed strategic plans for a variety of oncology treatments. Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Roche Pharmaceuticals in several leadership roles, focusing on product strategy and regional management within oncology and Alzheimer’s. Richard earned a BA hons in Geography from King's College London between 1994 and 1997.
