Svenja Amrhein

Svenja Amrhein is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Finance for Pharma Research & Early Development at Roche since September 2010. In this role, Svenja is responsible for facilitating a successful R&D pipeline through strategic resource allocation and shared leadership within the R&D Finance network. Svenja has held various leadership positions at Roche, including Head of Group Strategic Planning and Country CFO for the Swedish affiliate, where responsibilities evolved beyond traditional CFO functions. Svenja has also contributed to several initiatives, including the R&D Excellence initiative and the financial integration of FMI services into Roche's portfolio. Educationally, Svenja holds a Diplom Betriebswirt in Controlling from TH Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences.
