Michelle Ross

Michelle Ross currently serves as an English Teacher at Rochester City School District, having previously held roles at Khan Lab School as a Middle School Student Well Being Coordinator and English Specialist. In these positions, Michelle developed innovative curricula, integrated mastery-based learning, and emphasized social-emotional learning and executive functioning skills. Michelle's earlier experience includes production management at J.Crew and an internship in product development at MGF Sourcing, alongside a role as a Resident Assistant at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where supervision and community-building were key responsibilities. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Stony Brook University, a Bachelor's degree in Textile Development and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Cognitive Science in Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
