Cathy Shannon

Cathy Shannon serves as the Executive Director of the RIT Rochester Regional Health Alliance at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a position held since October 2023. The Alliance focuses on enhancing healthcare through collaboration among institutions, innovation, education, research, and shared services. Prior to this role, Cathy held the position of Director of Practice Management & Urgent Care at Thompson Health from 2009 to 2023, and worked as a Research Manager in Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals at Harris Interactive (now Neilsen Global Solutions) from 2006 to 2009, where strategic marketing and consulting skills were developed. Cathy holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
