Dr. S. Manian Ramkumar

Dr. S. Manian Ramkumar serves as the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology since September 1991, holding various leadership roles including Interim Dean and Director of the Center for Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly. In addition to academic responsibilities as a Professor and Department Chair in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology, Dr. Ramkumar also contributes as a Technical Advisor for SunRay Scientific Inc. and has been a Lead Instructor for IPC and SMTA since 2000, conducting workshops in Surface Mount Electronics Packaging for industry professionals. Dr. Ramkumar earned a Ph.D. in System Science and Industrial Engineering from Binghamton University, along with a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Bharathiar University.
