Erica Haskell

Erica Haskell serves as the inaugural director of the School of Performing Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology since June 2022. Previously, Haskell held several significant roles at the University of New Haven, including chair of the Division of Performing Arts, assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Oskar Schindler Humanities Endowed Professor, and associate professor of ethnomusicology. Haskell's teaching experience encompasses various course topics such as Introduction to World Music and the Politics of Music, with a strong academic background that includes a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from Brown University and a B.A. in Music Performance.
