Erwin Smith

Erwin Smith currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Information Technology and College Operations at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at RIT, where responsibilities include acting as Chief Information Officer and contributing to strategic college operations. In addition to this role, Erwin serves as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee on the Board of Directors for the Rochester School for the Deaf. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Student Enterprise Applications at the Rochester City School District, where the management of enterprise-wide student management applications was a key responsibility. Previous positions also include Application Management Services Manager at Endicott Interconnect Technologies and ERP Deployment Manager at Eastman Kodak Company. Erwin holds a Master of Science in Management Systems from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from SUNY Geneseo.
