Jim Yarrington currently serves as the Director of Planning and Design Services at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a position held since June 2001, overseeing significant developments in the institution's acclaimed Postwar Modernist Campus that have contributed over half a billion dollars in construction. Prior to this role, Jim was a Partner at Doran Yarrington Architects from 1995 to 2001, where expertise in architectural design, building additions, and historic preservation was applied, particularly in improving multi-family apartment communities in the Northeast. Jim holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, earned from 1977 to 1981.
