Juan Carlos Noguera

Juan Carlos Noguera is an accomplished academic and industrial designer with extensive experience in higher education and innovative design practices. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Industrial Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2022, Noguera teaches both undergraduate and graduate students while researching emerging fabrication and visualization technologies. Prior to this role, Noguera was the Program Chair for the Product Design Department at the Maryland Institute College of Art, overseeing academic and administrative operations. Noguera also played a crucial role in establishing a new Bachelor's program in Product Design at Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where responsibilities included curriculum design and faculty hiring. Additionally, Noguera contributed to the development of the world's first 3D electronics printer while working as an Industrial Designer at Voxel8. Academic credentials include a Master of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Rafael Landívar.
