Michael Mior has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and education. Michael is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Rochester Institute of Technology since August 2018. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at the University of Waterloo, including Research Assistant from September 2013 to August 2018, and Sessional Instructor from January 2018 to April 2018. Michael also worked at Bunch as an Associate Product Manager from March 2012 to July 2013, and as a Senior Web Developer from February 2011 to February 2012. In addition, they served as an Assistant Webmaster at Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2012. Michael also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from September 2009 to December 2010. Their work experience extends to Ontario Tech University, where they served as a Research Assistant from May 2006 to August 2009, assisting with research projects in virtual reality, user interface design, and high-performance computing, while mentoring younger students.
Michael Mior's education history begins in 2005 when they enrolled in Ontario Tech University. Michael pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science and Mathematics, which they successfully completed in 2009.
After their undergraduate studies, in 2009, Michael Mior joined the University of Toronto to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science. Michael completed their Master's degree in 2011.
