Berkley Frei has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the animation and technology industries. Berkley is currently the CEO and Founder of Rock Garden, a position they have held since 2020. Previously, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Tafi, where they led marketing and business development initiatives for Tafi and Daz 3D. Berkley also served as the General Manager (GM) at Tafi for a brief period in 2019.

Earlier in their career, Frei worked at PerspectX, Inc. as an Art Director and Lead Animator from 2009 to 2012, where they collaborated with clients such as Troika, LockHeed Martin, Sikorsky, and Boeing. Berkley also had a role as a Technical Director and Animator at IronBrass Studios from 2009 to 2010.

Frei started their career as a Freelance Artist in 2008 before transitioning into their various leadership roles in the animation and technology sectors.

Berkley Frei has completed the Blockchain Technologies: Business Innovation and Application program from MIT Sloan Executive Education in 2018. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2008, Berkley obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Animation from the University of Utah.
