Tim Ayers has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Police Lieutenant at the Rock Hill Police Department since May 2015, overseeing the Community Service Unit. Ayers has also held the position of President at the South Carolina Gang Investigators Association since February 2014, after previously serving as a regional coordinator and Vice President. Prior to becoming Lieutenant, Ayers worked at the Rock Hill Police Department from 1994 to 2011 as a Detective, focusing on persons crimes, gang crimes, and property crimes. Ayers began their career as a Service Technician at Time Warner Cable from 1989 to 1994 and graduated from Northwestern High School.
