Tristra Yeager obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Wesleyan University in the years 1992 to 1995. Following that, they pursued further education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they completed their PhD in Central Eurasian Studies (Mongolian) between 2000 and 2010.
