Emily Verschoor-Kirss

Emily Verschoor-Kirss is an experienced musician and educator with a robust background in various roles within the arts and recreation sectors. Since 2017, Emily has been self-employed as a musician while also serving as a content tutor at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student Athletes since January 2016. In addition, Emily has been a floor staff member at Rock Spot Climbing Gym since May 2013, where responsibilities include instructing safety techniques and leading customer events. Previous experience includes serving as a counselor at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, a QA/Audio Analysis intern at Spotify, and a learn-to-swim instructor and lifeguard at Needham Parks and Recreation. Emily holds a Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Connecticut College.
