Maddie Gallagher-Strauss is an experienced youth climbing coach and mathematics tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. Currently at Rock Spot Climbing Gym since September 2022, Maddie teaches rock climbing to youth, showcasing adaptability in coaching strategies. Previous roles include serving as an Assistant Camp Director and Youth Climbing Team Coach at Petra Cliffs Climbing Center & Mountaineering School, where Maddie managed camp logistics and developed climbing lesson plans. Additional experience includes tutoring college mathematics at the University of Rhode Island, interventionist work at Orchard Elementary School, and roles in the food industry, demonstrating strong academic and customer service skills across varied environments.
