Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson, Sr. has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a DSV at ROCKCLIFF ENERGY LLC since November 2017. Thompson held prior leadership roles, including Well Site Leader at BP L48 and Operator at Terra Oilfield Solutions. As a Productivity Improvement Supervisor at BHP Billiton from 2012 to February 2016, notable achievements included significant cost savings and operational improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles. Thompson’s career spans various positions, including Drilling Supervisor at Petrohawk Energy and Rig Manager at Noble Mexico LTD, beginning as a Driller with Murco Drilling Corp. Thompson received a diploma from Northwood High School, pursued further education in firefighting at Delgado Community College, and completed OSHA 510 at the University of Texas at Arlington.
