Christina Pyrgaki

Christina Pyrgaki is an experienced operations manager and research support specialist at The Rockefeller University since January 2016, focusing on training researchers in microscopy and providing expertise in sample preparation and image analysis. Previously, Christina held roles such as product and application support specialist at Carl Zeiss Microscopy, where support for microscopes and customer training were key responsibilities. Christina's academic journey includes a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Denver, along with multiple degrees in Clinical Chemistry and Biology from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Early research work involved studies on neural tube development and autism-related gene expression.
